Hi, I would like to know if I have a case? I fell out of
favor with my manager because I refused to spy on 2
employee's whom my manager felt were taking excessive
smoke breaks. Both employee's were hispanic along with
myself, once I told my manager I refused to spy on them
and that several others who were not hispanic were also
taking smoke breaks, he stopped going to lunch with me.
When one of the two employees were up for a promotion, he
stated he'd never see a promotion while he was in charge,
since then, he's stopped having informal conversations
with me and eventually I was terminated for what I feel
was retaliation? Do I have a case?
