I called the county police and ask them if I could get an
policeman to meet me at a ranch to get my property. I
didn't think there would be a problem but ask them for
help. The police said no. The next day I went to the
ranch and called the DPS and ask for a policeman to come.
The DPS dispatched the officer who had said no the day
before and he was mad at me. The ranch was closed and we
left. About an hour later I passed the policeman on the
road and he pulled me over. He ask me for my Insurance and
as I was looking for it he arrested me for no insurance,
crossing the white line and baracading the road with my
car. I was on a rural road and it there was no sholder. I
had two dogs in the car and it was 10:00 am.

I was taken to jail and spent 29 hours. I am a middle aged
woman and I am still in shock. I cried the entire time and
became sick in jail. I had a panic attack and passed out.
I woke up alone and cold on the jail floor.

My insurance card was in my car but he was out to put me
in jail; he told me I should not have called the police to
help me after he told me not to. He said, "you just had to
have it your way". After the policeman hand cuffed on hand
he jerked me and I went face first into the side of the car
and then to the ground. I am so afraid of the police now.
I will never call them again. I am looking for a good
civil rights Lawyer in the Houston area.
