Re: I called the police for help and they arrested me

After trying to break-up with a guy I had been dating for a
few months because I found out that he was gay and he had
serious mental problems. We were in a public place having
dinner and drinks. I had left my car at his house and did
not have my cell phone with me, we had rode together.
Eddie became beligerent and started causing a scene in the
restaurant so we left. Since I had rode with him I was the
passenger in his car. At one point while he was driving he
slammed on the breaks, unbuckled my seat belt and started
shoving me out of the passenger door of the car. He had
leaned across me and opened the door. I'm 5'3", 105 lbs.
He is at least 240 lbs and 5'11". I was trying to hang on
so I would not get thrown from the car or ran over since the
car was moving. The next thing I know I'm thrown from the
car, my head hits the curb and Eddie throws my purse out on
top of me. Not once did I ever touch him. He had his sun
glasses on a clip on his visor and I remember trying to grab
at anything (not him) to hang on to. I know the sun glasses
were broken, I believe I landed on them as I was thrown from
his car. Eddie then grabbed the door shut and drove off.
This all took place out side of a hotel. I walked in and
called the police to help me. I needed a ride back to my
car. I did not have Eddie's address, only his cell phone
number which I gave to the police. An hour later he shows
up, with his roommate driving and has a scratch on his
face. This guy had scratched his own face and blamed it on
me!! The police took pictures of my hands and under my
nails. Of course there was nothing there since I never
touched Eddie. The next thing I know is I'm arrested and
being hauled off to jail. I've never been in ANY trouble,
not even a traffic infraction. I called for help then I get
arrested! My foot was bleeding from being thrown from the
car. Since Eddie's glasses were broken they sited me for
domestic violence and malicious intent! I was the one who
was thrown from a moving vehicle, ended up with a huge lump
on my head and I'm arrested!
The two cops were women; one obviously was gay. I had told
them I was breaking up with Eddie because he is gay. I was
cited and given a blank citation with nothing on it (I am
still in posession of this) then weeks later the two police
women wrote up a report. I believe my rights have been
violated. This happened in Vancouver, Washington where the
judicial system is very corrupt.
What I've learned from this is to never call the police for
help. I consider myself a law abiding citizen and never
gotten into any trouble. Our judicial system is a joke. It
is set up to protect the criminals and used against
innocent, tax paying citizens. I would like to know how do
we rise up against it.
