How delinquent was your account? Did they try to offer you a settlement besides
the monthly payment and did they put the monthly payment in writing? I also am
having trouble with MBNA. In fact, the guy that called me was screaming at me to
give him a payment out of my checking account. He did not believe I had no money
in my account and then he insisted on giving me his number but I was on my cell
phone driving down the road and could not write anything down. He then screamed
that I should borrow, beg, steal, or whatever to pay them including pawning
personal items. How low was that!
