Re: National Arbitration Forum
Posted by RIBS on 9/29/06

I just recieved a letter from NAF saying they have been awarded over $7,000.00 from an
arbitrator Robert s Branch and signed by him and Harold Kalina a Ret Director from a
company listed as CACV of Colorado, LLC (a company I have never heard of) saying I had
made a written agreement on or before 01/17/06 to arbitrate a dispute (I never did any
such thing). I had recieved a letter some time back sent certified, which I did sign
for, but as I didn't take it seriously, and didn't recognize the company I thought it
was some sort of scam looking for my information in a sneaky kind of way (like when
they say your account with AOL will be closed unless you enter your account info and
passwords right away. I tossed it, thinking nothing more of it until now. What does
this mean? What should I do? I have accounts with family and afraid they may raid
those accounts and my own. Is this legal? Says it was entered and affirmed in the
state I am presently living in. What can I do? Help! I don't know this company, I
certainly don't owe anyone over $7000.00 and am afraid they may try and take my home,
raid accounts my family has or my own accounts? Should I tell them to remove my
name? Close my accounts? Good god this is awful!
