    People that say things like that don't understand the law completely. I
    am 23 years old. When I was 17 I moved out and was supporing myself on
    $750 a month....as a college student. I got into a wreck when I was 19
    without insurance (because I couldn't afford it) and the state imposed
    two tickets on me which resulted in 7 different surcharges (one for 3
    years, the other for 4). The wreck was the other lady's fault....I had
    only had ONE other ticket before in my life....none of which were for
    wreckless driving, DUI or anything of the sort. I am STILL paying off
    the fees...I realized today that the grand total (not including the
    actual ticket fees which cost over $500) is costing me $1,516!!!!! I
    have had insurance for the last 3 years straight....but of course that
    is not taken into consideration. *PEOPLE REMEMBER* not everyone is a
    criminal and therefore deserve this kind of punishment. A lot of us are
    merely poor....and because of ridiculous laws like this....will STAY
    POOR.
