My son is/was on probation for two years for evading
arrest with a motor vehicle. He's served a year of his
probation in good standing, but blew it a few weeks ago.
He was honest with his probation officer and told her he
had done drugs. She just told him to come in for his
appointment, he did, they talked and nothing happened at
that time. Today when he went in for his meeting with her,
he was arrested. He will not see the judge for two more
days he was told.

My question is, what usually happens when probation is
violated?

He is in jail in Houston, TX
