    Under the current administration, the fourth amendment is a pretty
    weak argument. A grand jury can come in and use it for an indictment,
    the evidence can still be used to impeach, etc. For the most part it
    is federal law, but I wouldn't presume to know the law of the state of
    some random poster.

    As for "hippo", there was no gain for commercial or otherwise. The
    real issue here could be doctor-patent privilege. Again, that could be
    weak, the way the Supreme Court has weakened hearsay laws.

    I would not presume to know all of the facts of this case, and would
    not try to advise her because of the changes to the law since 9/11.
