Post: National Arbitration Forum - Not Mine-What No Due Process??

Posted by Deborah Barfield on 3/18/08

I received a claim from the National Arbitration Forum for
a debt that I have no knowledge of although they have my
name, address, and social. The debt is from 2001. The
credit card company filed a claim with the Forum in 2004
however, they just served me in Nov 2007.

I responded and informed the Arbitration Forum that I did
not owe the debt, have never agreed to a contract with an
arbitration clause, and that the debt was too old to
recover as it exceeded the statue of limitations of 4
yrs. I objected and refused to participate.

They continue to send me information. What are my
    options? What should I do.

    Thank you. Deborah
