Post: probation violation

My son was picked up for violating his probation.He
checked in with his probation officer on 5/7/09 and
explained that his grandmother has been ill and recently
passed away. The officer was ok with this and instructed
him to rescedule the appointment. on 5/12/09 he was picked
up and detained.another probation officer who as we
understood was removed from his case due to conflict of
interest had him picked up after being told he had not
violated probation. She also discussed his case with his
stepfather who has no legal rights and she still has told
talked with me to explain why she picked him up.
Apparently a report was filed but no charges have been
made.What can I do? I need help.
