    Mike,

Thanks for the explanation about 'mark' I never though of it that way

*By refusing to join the union and refusing to pay the dues--
while accepting the benefits of the others' sacrifices--you set
yourself apart as a person to be reviled and scorned. Since you
choose to be the odd-man-out, expect to be treated as such. You
have your "right to work," so work and stop bitching about the
    conditions.*

...and to the person that posted the above:

Have you heard of FREEDOM OF CHOICE? Mike can chose to join the
union if he wants to, is called FREEDOM OF CHOICE, this is not a
valid reason to be reviled and scorned.

He has two choices to join or not, so he chose not to join the Union
and when he did, he didn't know that he was going to be 'the odd
man' harrassed and scorned, so everytime someone that has two
choices if they don't chose what the majority choses, they will be
    called the odd people?

By the way the only one that is 'bitching' here it's you, he came
for counsel and explained to us his situation at work

*so work and stop bitching about the
    conditions.*

You sound like one of the Union leaders..shame on you

Mike seek a Lawyer right away in your State and go for the win and
    for what you have chosen

Harrassment at work by the leaders is a NO NO in any State, because
it causes you to lose your concentration, brings depression,
    slepsness and so much more

I wish you the best of luck, and I wish you were in my State

A big hug !! and please be strong and fight for your rights

    Danny
