I was suddenly terminated because I filed a complaint on
my sales manager for discrimination and hostile work
environment--they certified mail me the day after the
backdated one day prior to my complaint.
Prior to that, they have been constantly harrassing me
with these horrible meetings about my attendance to
workshops and meetings which my manager had sabatoged
because she deleted me from the distribution list--I
attended the 'mandatory' montly sales meetings, however,
the workshops are optional. I would have left a long time
ago, however, their insurance does not transfer to another
company so I will have to shell out another 500.00 and I
committed to advertising in the yellow pages costing me
$1,000 for two years which the company didn't give me a
dime for that. I know I'm an Independent Contractor, but
how come I have to deal with a boss who caused me so much
stress and anguish? Do I have any rights at all? this has
been ongoing for 8 months. Thanks for any thoughts
