    Post: Can a Job let someone go for being sick?

    I work for a manufacturing company in NY state and they
    have threatened to fire me for being out sick. I have a
    doctors note stating I should not be in work for specific
    dates because of an illness. They still persist that I can
    be fired even though I have a doctors note. Is this
    possible? And what should I do?
