    Worker's compensation laws are State-specific so you may
    wish to speak with a local WC attorney but it's quite
    possible that after you had been on 12 weeks of medical
    leave (FMLA) and still unable to return to work, your
    employer was free to terminate your employment or fill your
    job and stop paying for your group health insurance.
