I work with a large retail firm that is trying to make it impossible for employees to get any time off. We are not allowed to request time off, even with 2 weeks notice. We are not allowed to take sick days (less than 24hrs notice) without getting written up (those write ups acculmulate to the point of termination) and according to their policy if you give 24 hrs notice allowing time to get your shift covered the managers seem to think they can refuse when you call off. Can anyone help?
