I had previously asked about recovering my mileage... the commissonar in charge of my case went on vacation..and my previous employer sent me a check for only my mileage. I feel they were trying to get out of paying the penalities. I didn't cash it and returned it to the Labor Board. Isn't my previous employer responible for paying the penalities as well? was i let go on May 7th of 2007 and filed with the labor board at the end of may. it was in August that i was sent this check...my regualr monthly pay was $4000 a month. I'm I entitled to the penaltites as well? I can seem to get a hold of the person in charge of my case. she just came back from vacation.
