    What you should do is report the injury to your employer.
    They, in turn, are obligated to report the injury to their
    worker's compensation carrier. Assuming there is no dispute
    as to causation of the injury, the WC carrier is obligated
    to pay 100% of your medical bills and for your lost time at
    whatever percent of your normal wages is mandated by your
    State's WC regulations. That is generally either 66-2/3% or
    85%, depending on which State you're in.
