This past Friday I was unexpectedly terminated from my
full time position for "not being engaged in the position
and poor work performance". No verbal or written warnings
of any kind..

They are an at will employer, however, something doesn't
seem quite right. I am a 26 year old African American
female (not trying to play the race card, but i feel
completely blindsided.

They offered 2 weeks severance, but I am wondering what I
can do? Can I ask for more, or are they fully covered by
their "at will" status?
