I'd have to agree with the others. One of my friends is in management at a major credit card company. Employees are routinely fired when they get curious and decide to search the credit records of people like George W. Bush, Oprah Winfrey, and other celebrities. If those people have never sued the company, what's the likelihood that there's a legitimate claim of damage done or a case to be had? The company did what it needed to do - it investigated as soon as the complaint was lodged, found it had merit, and terminated the employee. Sounds like very appropriate supervision to me.
