    Your employer has the right to employ whomever they choose.
    If they know about his criminal background and it's not an
    issue for them, then that's just the way it is. There is
    nothing you can do to force them to fire your supervisor.
    You were fine working with this man, who it appears you
    respected and felt was doing a fine job, until you decided
    to go digging around in his past. If his behavior on the
    job is appropriate, then that's the end of it. What you
    describe does not constitute a hostile work environment.
