Also, you need to read the fine print in any "Consent to Treat" form you may have signed. Many outline numerous exemptions to the HIPPA law, and often one of those exemptions is "When deemed in the best interest of the patient" which pretty much gives free reign on sharing information. So if you're looking for a big payday, a HIPPA case doesn't likely fit the bill.
