Post: Health-related issues at work

I've had a couple issues pertaining to my health come up at work, and I was just looking for some legal input. First of all, we are allowed to have something to drink and a small snack at our desks. I have hypoglycemia and my doctor provided me with a prescription stating I need to have food available at my desk. At times, the "small snack" is not enough to keep me from feeling faint, but my boss has said anything beyond that will have to be eaten on a break, away from the desk (very busy office, not usually possible other than lunch)...which will then also cause me to fall behind on work. Can she do that? My second issue is that there are times (usually about 10 minutes of work per week) when my work falls a little behind because my wrist or back is in a lot of pain and I have to slow down. My boss demands everything be done the same day, with no extra time (even unpaid) spent on it. Even when she has ok'd me delaying some tasks to prevent the pain, I get reprimanded for not getting it done when she wants it done. I've had pain issues for years, but they haven't really affected this job until they flared up again recently. I have no official diagnosis, but every doctor I've seen has felt it's some type of repetitive strain injury. Do I have a leg to stand on here as far as ergonomics or even if she were to go so far as firing me for this? Thanks
