Since I work in a loud industry, OSHA mandates that my
employer test hearing each year to see if it is degrading
over time. Although it has been mandated for years, my
employer complied for the first time in 2006. They had a
hearing van test all shop employees. Now, they want all
employees to have their hearing tested on their own time
and use their health insurance to cover the costs. Is this
legal? Shouldn't they pick up ALL COSTS?
