Here is my story.....worked for a law firm with one
attroney...my position was office manager/bookkeeper...in
early january she let a coworker go b/c of financial
reasons...did the same in feb with antoher
coworker...worked for the firm for 4 years...in feb of
this year she had another attorney in the office(this is
her boyfriend) my boss had told me in late jan after a
brakup with him that he did not like me b/c he had to get
through me to get to her then she reunited with him..they
then would go into the office over the weekends and
install a new accounting program...every time i came in on
monday morning the computer system would crash..i would
tell her that he installed it improperly according to the
program maker and she would tell me to reinstall
it...which i did...they proceded to go into the office
every weekend and mess with it and it would always
crash... she teminated me in april with no reason she just
came into my office and said that this wasnt working
out...i said fine she asked me to leave my key...which i
didnt have...i then left...i applied for UI and have
recv'd two weeks so far...she denied my benefits to UI and
stated tht i was let go b/c oif lack of
communication...myslek and the others know it was relly
b/c of her boyfriend...she also stated theat i crashed her
computer system...and that she was in financial peril b/c
of me...i did nothing but give my all to this woman and
now she is lying to the ui ...she didi not deny the others
ui and i know for a fact being the office manager and her
confidnt that they were both offered to stay on until they
found something and they up and quit...she did not deny
them benefits even though they quit ...all i want to do is
go foward and collect ui until i find other
employment...but she is lying to everyone she speaks to
including UI...what can i do?
