Yes. An employer can change a job title or job duties as they see fit. Remember, as irritating or displeasing as it may be, they pay you to do a job for them. The only exception would be if you signed an employment agreement. Otherwise, if you decide that you wish not to do the new job or job duties, move on to another company.
