Post: In real need of legal advice

    Posted by Christina on 9/10/09

Well my husband is a motorcycle mechanic an he has had this
job with this guy for about 6 months. Its a small business
mostly selling retail also. When he was hired he was asked
to become a partner, and his boss gave him a key to the
shop and the alarm codes. But all of a sudden when his
business was starting to go under. he started acting funny.
Slowly things started changing 1st his boss promised him he
would pay him for fixing there website so my husband worked
extremely hard on it and finished, but was never paid. 2nd-
his boss wanted to build a custom bobber so my husband
started building it for him but was never paid for his
labor on it 3rd- he waznted my husband to fix his
girlfriends 4 wheeler so he started to but was never paid
for that labor either. 4th- he would give my husband his
paychecks but told him he could not cash them so he paid
him under the table. 5th- then took my husband off base pay
and only would pay him for his time he worked on a bike for
a customer. 6th- my husband took our personal desktop up to
his work so he could finish the company website, well as so
has he was taken off base pay he wanted to bring it home.
When trying to pack it up and take it to his truck, his
boss trys and blocks the door.

My husband is owed around $5,000 in un paid wages and labor
that he has earned. What is the best possible solution we
should do about our situation? Please help very despret for
    answers!!!
