I was offered a job with cerner corp in Kansas City. I'm
from Charlotte NC and basically we have put all of our
savings into moving out here. We bought a house at the
height of the housing bubble in 07 and now of course we owe
more on it than its worth. So to sell it we have had to put
$7500 into fixing it up and another $10,000 towards
principal. It will likely cost us another $10000 in closing
costs to get the house sold. My wife also quit her job to
move out here. So, long story short we've put all of our
eggs in the "cerner basket". Shortly before I started my
first day of work I posted what I thought was an anonymous
question on a site called yahoo answers asking if cerner
would drug test me on the first day. On my first day after
orientation HR reps came in and showed me that they had
tracked down the post somehow and fired me on the spot with
no regard for everything I had put into coming out here. Now
I am in danger of losing everything. Can I recover damages?
