Re: Peanut and nut and may contain nut ban in public school

This all hurts my heart. Yeah ... we miss peanut butter ... but yet every single day I pray everyday that I never have to experience the worst day of my life. To lose my little girl would kill me. I'd almost feel better if it were due to my negligence than to leave it up to others. Reading all of the madness on this post has been unbelievable. Obviously someone might be able to run faster than another ... it doesn't mean that they will potentially die because of that. (Although my heart aches for the disabled). And if concerned about bee stings ... stay inside for recess ... I'm sure that teach could surely accomodate that luxury for a few kids. MY KID MIGHT DIE JUST FROM TOUCHING SOMETHING MIGHT CONTAIN THE SMALLEST TRACE OF A PEANUT!! SHE WOULD BE DEAD!!! My daughter vomitted not even a minute after eating a peanut ... and was rushed by 911 to the hospital. Next time we won't be so lucky. It happens that fast! Have you ever thought about the teachers who might have to handle this situation ... doubt it. We'd like to think they could be ready for it by having an epi-pen handy. I hate to be skeptical but I doubt it. They might go home with one of their students being DEAD. Same with the kids. Who cares about the parents. I only wish I had my pictures ... so you could see what my little girl looked like. For those of you who choose not to care maybe your kids will get to see somebody die someday because you needed to feed your kid a peanut butter sandwich. We are starting Montessori school with my 2 year old in 2 weeks. I was hesitant about dealing with the parents ... and now I'm pretty sure I will homeschool my child. Thanks.
