My employer says I have to take a weeks vacation at a
time. No where in our company hand book, does it suggest
that. Nor does it say, you can't take 2-3 days at a time.
My 1st vacation reguest was to take 2 days off. Our
company handbook states, it is suggested you not take one
day at a time such as fridays and mondays. When I stated
this about the handbook, all the general manager could say,
was this isnt your handbook anymore, and could not give me
a new handbook (because there is no other one to give me)
I then asked to take off from a wednesday to tuesday. And
again I was denied my vacation. Since this has happened to
me, there has been 3 vacations in another department within
our company they have been approved for a 2 day vacation.
Please help.
