I have a problem I would like to present and see if you think
the way I do or if I am overreacting because I have been raped
before and I want to feel I am justified in the conclusion I
have came to in another situation. One of my co-workers is
constantly making obscene remarks to me. He always sees how I
am dressed, makes comments about what color my panties are. I
told him he had no business looking. But what was the icing on
the cake was when I came to work one day he raised my jacket
over my pants and said you missed a belt loop may I fix it for
you. I told him I was very capable of fixing my loops myself.
He had told another co-worker he was interested in me. I told
him very nicely that I had no intention of dating someone I
worked with because I didn't think it was good policy. I
confronted my manager with the situation I was being faced
with so if it happened again I could do something about it.
He found out I had confronted but his comments continued. He
told me he had turned down 3 other higher paying jobs because
of me. I told him I didn't want to see him losing a good job
because of me although there wasn't anything between us I
think he fantisied there was. And to be quite frank I was
praying that he would get another job. Well he did but he
still wants to work part-time here. After he found out I had
told our manager, he started being very mean to me, But he
always seemed to be showing up when I was to come in when he
no business to even be there. He even went so far to say to me
he had been watching me on camera until I got bored. I told
him I guess you know that is stalking. He just laughed like I
dare you. He started wanting to take my hours and at first our
manager went for it. Our manager gave me back the note I had
written him letting him know if he allowed him to work I would
have to seek other help, he also gave him back the hours. I
told my manager I had got to the point I was scared because he
always seems to turn up. The assistant manger is also aware of
what has happened and told me to be careful because she knew
he was crazy when she hired him. Now here is my situation, I
have to work I have no choice, my income is my only source of
survival. Do I have to be treated like this? What can I do?
Anyone wishing to help me with this situation, your help will
    be geatly appreciated. MaDonna Bush
