Post: Social Services

I was wrongly accused of neglecting my children. My husband and I think it was because we are fighting the school district for one of our sons who has autism. Needless to say, we had DYFS in our home to investigate. Although they found nothing wrong, it is driving me nuts that the school called. We have two children in the school district and they never thought to check on the other child. Shouldn't there be concrete evidence before making such a strong allegation. Our children are our life. Just because our one son went to school one day with his ears dirty, does this give them the right to call social services???? Could this be seen as a defammation case??
