    Only a qualified medical professional can make a diagnosis of a
    learning disability. A nurse is not qualified. Problem is someone
    (like you?) might actually take the nurse seriously. It's one thing
    for a supervising nurse to make a report that a trainee nurse is
    below professional standards, that's her job; but making a diagnosis
    is not her job. In most states it is prima facie slander to state
    that someone has a mental illness.

    For example; just because someone is a curmudgeon doesn't mean they
    are a bi-polar, manic depressive, schizophrenic. Big difference
    between a character trait and a mental illness.
