The landlord is WRONG!!! Its ironic but I just went through
the same thing with my fiance's management company. They told
her I would have to leave immediately or she would be
evicted. Needless to say I didn't leave and we looked for
another apartment and left on our on terms, not theirs.
To clearly answer your question, the "landlord" can't tell
you who you have in your apartment as long as your obeying
the rules of your building and rules set in your lease. And
paying your rent :P Hope that help
