I am a former veteran of the U.S. Navy and I recieve a government benefit (GI Bill)to assist in paying or my college education. The GI Bill was something that I contributed to monetarily during my service ($100/ month x 12 months). My present employer (a large corp.) offers a 75% tuition reimbursement to everyone in the factory for approved courses. The courses I have been taking are approved but I am not because I receive the GI bill which they claim is a govt. benefit. I f this is the case then whose benifit is it and is this a discriminatory practice.
