Post: A childs right to choose

Posted by Dolores, deesdolls@webtv.net, on 8/08/00

Why is it that a young man age 17, who will be 18 in Oct.
can not choose between living with his mother or his father? Both parents are good people. Neither parent is in trouble with the law. They are both up standing people.
So why is it the judge says he can't choose? The judge says it up to social services and himself, the judge, to decide
which parent he lives with. Do young people have any rights? Let them commit a crime and they become adults real quick. Doesn't make any sence to me. HELP
