My husband was convited of cocaine possession and burglary, he is serving a 6 1/2 years sentence for this crime. He will be getting out next year. The problem we are finding is: Right now I'm living with my parents with two young boys, we want to get our own place, as my father is very much against my husband because he went to prison. I have gone to several places, in good living areas, so we can get our life together, no drugs etc. We want the best for our children. I have been running into problems that no one will rent to me because my husband is a convited felon. We can't afford a home. I've been to apartment complex, I have inquiry about living in a repectable trailer park home. No one will let us in because of his convited felon. Has anyone else encounter this problem? What can I do? Sure I can fine a place in the bad area, but we need to stay away from placing like that. Can anyone give me any suggestions? Wendy Sylvester
