I'm a first year law student, and a friend asked me a
question. Apparently he had been in a bankruptcy over
three years ago, for which he paid a flat fee. He just got
a bill for an additional amount (around $500, I'm not
sure), for services he doesn't remember, and has no way to
verify - and was never told about DURING the bankruptcy.
My question is this: is there a statute of limitations on
legal billing? What should my friend do?
