Dear Tammy, Would need a little bit more information to properly answer your question. What exactly happened? Yes, an attorney has a duty to disclose dishonest acts, so long as to do so would not interfere with his attorney-client privilege. There is more to it than this, but this is something to think about. Any attorney who commits an unethical act in his practice is subject to the strong arm of what is known in many states as Disciplinary Counsel, and no lawyer likes that, nor needs that.
