Post: Can an Attorney be sued if they are found guity by their bar

    Posted by David on 2/20/04

Not too long ago I filed a complaint against an attorney
for many things, among which was trying to extort me by
threating criminal charges if I did not back off suing a
business they have a third party relationship with. This
attorney is not legal counsel for the business I was
dealing with.. My question is, if the bar association finds
in my favor, can I then sue the attorney? If I can, which
state would I have to do it in since I live in one state
and the attorney is in another state?
