San Diego police from the gang task force with no warrant nor any probable cause conduct a "what the residents discribe as" aggressive search on family of non-English speaking Vietnamese family. The resident who were living in the house at that time were two senoir over the 68 and were acompany by 3 other family member with disability. What makes this matter worst is the fact of knowing that this family has very littly knowledge on their rights as well as Comprehending English, the police task force without having been invited to enter rushed in to conduct, what POLICE call "a Gang Unit raid" on private property with no one documented as such source durring the time or anyone is a fourth waiver. I can also ensure your of this because the occupant of the invaded residents are my grandparents with my blind aunt and mentally diable uncles. What disturb me the most is that this is not the first time police from the so call "Gang Unit" done this. Few years back their were someone who live at the home who were on probation but then move away long before this particular incident. The day he move he also informed his probation officer as well as the police who more then 4 time constantly invade the home anyways using the same excues. And everytime they do approach the home, the residents discribe it as agrressive force puming fear in to all the resident member as well as everyone living in that house. My aunt who is a disably blind individual, stated to me and other member of the fanily that she were physically push and shove while weren't able to comphrend to the officer who were tryin to talk to her. As a student of San Diego state and a vietnamese-American I can understand why they can use such aggression to those who are obviously in no way of threats toward their pressence. When my cousin and I call into the police station to locate and queston those particular officer who were at my grandparents house, one of the officer told me that they were just conducted a routibne gang search on what supposely were inform by them that my cousin were back at the residency.Tired if the same respond i demanded for a greivance report which i were denied of. I was told that because they had permission from my cousin probation officer who were in another state out to conduct that search for probable cause and that I am unable to file a complain. So in curiousity i contacted the probation officer of which the San Diego gang unit stated were aware of the "raid" who then "the probation officer" inform me that they had know knowledge of what was pressented or ever had any contact of any gang unit from San Diego. SO what can i do in case of a situation like this occur again.? Can police still invade a home without a search warrant and no one in the house is a fourth waiever.? It's no suprising to me that this happen because as i'm from California, and cases of police harassment happen all the time. Especially their so call the gang task force. Other family in the community of my grandparents stated that this type of things happen to them all the time and the majority member had never fought back because fearing police retaliation. It;s sad to know that these are the same police officer who we paying through our tax money to protect and to serve. I'm not saying all police are bad, but in a case like this how can i defend my right if it happen to my against the abusive liberty sworn enforcement officer...?
