    Post: Final Judgment

    Posted by Lorrie on 5/14/04

It was six months, one week and one day following a final
hearing before a judge presiding over my divorce/custody
case rendered a decision. I was misrepresented during
this almost two year process. My attorney refused to
communicate with me or address important issues regarding
my case. My ex husband was awarded EVERYTHING including
custody of my children and sole ownership of our
house/property even though my name was on the property
deed (Arkansas is a 50/50 state). The judge also ordered
me to sign a quick claim deed for my interest in the
property. My rights have been violated. I need to fire
my attorney and rehire new counsel to appeal this
decision. I cannot get any legal advice as long as I have
an attorney. I have been fighting solo for so long and
    need assistance desperately.
