    As a personal note, my fiance' is going through the exact same
    process now. We've hired an excellent attorney (Michigan). She's
    already had the original judgement vacated and the new one
    entered. He makes $90k while she earns $35k and he got
    everything. He now owes her 50% of the equity in the home, pays
    90% for the kids medical instead of 10%, she gets the kids as a
    tax deduction, etc. It was expensive but well worth the cost.
