PLEASE somebody check into this, you can contact the santa maria times for more info. the 'good judge' was arrested on 12/21/02> thank you... this judge needs to not be on the bench, what can be done? it makes the whole legal system look really bad... isnt credibility a must in this game? Judges committing crimes are not abnormal. I have seen a lot of it in Los Angeles County in many courtrooms. Nothing happens. Also some attorneys it seems are connected by the hip (pocket wallet) to some judges too. Besides, they call the game and it seems some attorneys get caught up in the mess too. Is this really JUSTICE? It's not what I was taught, maybe that's what makes it so difficult to accept. The Right Advocate

thanks for reading and responding to my post. she so needs to be disbarred, some kind of punishment.. she has always been an unfair and harsh judge,i wonder if shes still harsh over her cases now, what sentances she gives to people with far less crimes than she got away with.
ive always admired judges, its really a shame that some can just snub their noses and nothing happens.
you say you've seen this in LA, its here, and everywhere, so what will we do when the judges are worse than the criminals? if this continues, people will have no repect for the courts, then what? i know 'its not perfect, but its the best we got', and all that, but the system needs to change with the times.. the jails are packed with people that were high, or had a little bit of dope, but not the people ( judges, even worse) that commited battery, drunk driving and misappropraiting polical money? she ( and all the others) needs to be held accountable for her actions.. if they are not, then the respect will be gone.lets just hope it wont come to that.
