Post: Ethics Questions

Posted by Dale Melchin on 5/14/06

I would like to have these questions answered via e-mail
so I could use it in an e-mail interview for a project I
    am doing.

    1) In your mind what are the ethical and moral
    reprecussions of defending the guilty?
    2) Do you know of any cases where this happened? If so
what are they and reference the case titles please.
    3) What would you do if you were defending a client you
thought was clean, but he confessed to the crime mid-trial?
    4) Woud you defend someone you knew or felt was guilty?
    5) Why? or why not?
    6) Where does innocent until proven guilty come into play
in this situation in relation lawyer ethics?
