I am in full agreement. I just received notice of this and find
it outrageous. In addition, I'm an out-of-state driver and am
tempted to fight this, as I am not even sure they could penalize
my license anyway? I have had more issues and ridiculous
"surcharges" and "fines" by the state of NY than any of state in
the nation and, in fact, have never received any traffic
violations except in NY! Where is my money going? Is this even
constitutional? One notice read that I was also paying
additional dollars because I wasn't a NY State resident!
