Post: attorney gross procedural error

Posted by Deborah Sharma on 8/17/08

My divorce lawyer lied to me and told me he completed a
title search on my home I was awarded. I found out six
months later that he did not do a title search and that
there is in fact a collateral lien on my home for my ex-
husbands business. Can I take this up with the Office of
Attorney Ethics or should I file a motion in court and
    seek damages?
