Failure to communicate with a client is the most common reason
attorneys are disciplined by the bar association. This
attorney is on retainer for you, there is no excuse for her
not returning your calls.

If you sent your attorney a letter advising them you are
unhappy with their level of communication with their client,
and say you are considering filing a complaint with the bar
association, that should at least get you a prompt response.
