Post: Client Issues

I have started a new job and I have to close down the private practice. I have informed my clients of this. A few of them understood. However, there are several of them who do not want me to withdraw from their cases. Often they are the clients who either have not paid me or do not want to pay me anything. These are also the clients who re the reason I had to leave private practice (unreasonable expectations, consistent complainers, financially strapped each month etc). What is the most effective way to handle these situations?
