Here is the shortest version of my problem that I can give.
I have two beautiful children from my ex husband. He
barely ever has contact with them in fact hasnt called
them in a few months. He has nto paid support in almost 6
months. I do not care about the money I care about there
emotional well being. My husband wants to adopt them and
here lies the problem. Im origanly from New York. We moved
to Tennessee a lil over a yr ago. According to my court
papers all support and custodity issues have to go threw
New york courts. Im sure teminating his rights counts as
that but im unsure if the adoption does. I have search for
info on the termination and I cant seem to find exactly
what im looking for. Im hopeing i do not have to go threw
New york as they are the ones who still granted him
visitaion rights after the proven abuse and him failing
one of their drug tests that they ordered. He really does
not deserve to have anything to do with the kids. Any
information would greatly be appreciated.
