Post: denying visitation
Posted by Vivian on 5/25/07
My husband was awarded full custody of his son. The mother moved out of state, so my husband took their son to have visitation with her. During the visitation, he was removed from her home due to him being the "victim of out-of- control abuse". That was two years ago. The case was closed after she finished a case plan. She has now moved back in state and wants visitation, even though she has not seen their son in over a year. Does my husband have the right to deny visitation, so the court can order supervised visitation. He is 7 and says he doesn't want to see or talk to her.
